We are looking for novella-length stories to use as centerpieces for each of our quarterly print anthologies. We want pieces that have an immediate, sharp narrative hook and are solid, entertaining stories. In a word: interesting.Accepted novellas will be paid $50 upon publication plus 5 contributor copies, as well as buyer code to receive additional copies at wholesale cost.
All novellas accepted will appear as the feature piece of that quarter's anthology and will display the title and author's name prominently on the magazine cover.

Burnt Bridge Press is looking to publish a book-length anthology of stories/ (all leaning toward the noir/gothic style) that are set in or around the city of Biloxi, MS (our very own home). Stories need not be written by natives of the Mississippi Coast (though that is encouraged), but all stories should have a very strong sense of place embedded within the narrative. The setting must become intimate and integral to the story itself, i.e. this story could not possibly have taken place anywhere else.Submissions for this anthology will be accepted on a rolling basis until the anthology is completed.
